— footrests are not very necessary for normal wheelchair riding — after all, the child needs to push off with his feet from the ground. But if you plan to regularly carry a stretcher by the parent handle, or choose a model with a rocking chair function, it makes sense to make sure that the baby will have somewhere safe to put his feet when riding "in tow" or when rocking.
