Sublimation paper
Sublimation
— specialized paper designed for applying images to various surfaces (fabric, ceramics, metal, etc.) using the thermal transfer method. With this application, the image is first printed on paper, then the paper is applied to the desired surface and placed under the heat press; the heat evaporates the ink from the paper and deposits it on the main carrier. In a similar way, you can apply various images to clothes (t-shirts, caps), dishes (mugs, plates, ashtrays), accessories (purses, wallets), etc.The name "sublimation" is due to the fact that the evaporation of ink from such paper occurs in the form of sublimation — the transition from a solid state immediately to a gaseous one.
