— the temperature sensor allows the driver to assess the situation in the cabin without approaching the car at all — according to the data on the display of the key fob or other control device. This can be useful both for comfort (for example, a cold car can be warmed up in advance and only then invite passengers into it), and as an additional security measure: a sharp change in temperature in the cabin can be a sign of an intrusion.
