Limit switch

— limit switches are regularly used to protect the perimeter — more precisely, to monitor the opening of doors, hood, boot, gas tank, etc. — however, other applications may be envisaged for them (for example, installation under the driver's seat as a weight sensor). Note that the installation of individual limit switches is considered more reliable than tying the alarm to the standard "limit switches" of the car — the position of the latter is often known to the attackers, and the non-standard sensor can be quite reliably disguised.
