Xenon-halogen car lamps
Xenon / halogen
— like bi-xenon lamps, these light sources are designed for cars in which the same lamp is responsible for high and low beams. At the same time, in accordance with the name, in this case, two lamps are installed on one base: xenon (for low beam) and halogen (for high beam). Thus, xenon / halogen is a kind of compromise between the solid and expensive bi-xenon (see above) and the affordable, but not very advanced halogen. However, note that such lamps have some disadvantages. So, the flasks in them are not located on the same axis, which can cause difficulties in setting the headlights, or even make their normal operation impossible. The total heat dissipation of such a lamp can be quite high and, in the worst case, even lead to damage to the headlight. In addition, bulbs of different types have a different service life (and usually xenon has less), and if one bulb fails, you will have to change the entire headlight. In general, we can say that before buying such a lamp, it is worth evaluating its advantages and checking how much they surpass the disadvantages.xenon and halogen | clear | Save List |
