Nibbler
— devices designed to accustom the baby to solid food. Designed for older children who have already erupted their first teeth. The nibbler is a mesh (or a silicone nozzle with holes) mounted on a handle that is comfortable for the baby. Food is placed inside such a mesh — for example, pieces of fruit or vegetables, bread, cookies, etc .; if necessary, the contents can be kneaded. Then the nibbler closes securely — and you can give it to your child. At the same time, you can not be afraid that the baby, chewing the “yummy”, will choke on a large hard piece: the mesh only allows juice and small crumbs to pass through. However, the parent should still be careful — for example, so that a curious child does not disassemble the nibbler. Also note that modern nibblers can vary in hole size. At the same time, a mesh that is too small is inconvenient for the baby, because the contents do not pass through it well, and too large can skip pieces of solid food that the child is not yet able to chew and swallow normally. However, there are no unequivocal recommendations in this case, everything is purely individual. Therefore, when choosing a nibbler, it is best to start with a fine mesh, and if the baby does not like it, switch to a larger one.
