X-band

— radio range 10.5-10.55 GHz. Historically, the first range used by police radars. Such radiation is easily detected at fairly large distances even by inexpensive devices, but the range itself is considered obsolete, is used less and less (in many countries it is completely out of use) and is provided in modern radar detectors rather as a tribute to tradition and "just in case".
