Lanyards
Lanyards
— a lanyard is a device in the form of a loop or twisted cord; Initially, such devices were used for knives, axes, machetes and other cutting and chopping tools, but nowadays they are increasingly used in lanterns as well. The lanyard is fixed on the handle and performs several functions at once. So, it can be left outside the pocket and, if necessary, quickly pull out a knife or flashlight; in addition, with wide swing movements, the lanyard can play the role of a counterweight. The lanyard-cord serves as a continuation of the handle and may be useful for people with large hands or for holding by the very edge of the handle; some models are double-sided and can be used as safety cords attached to clothing or equipment. And in extreme cases, the cord can be dissolved, getting a strong rope. Lanyard-loop, in turn, reduces the risk of dropping a knife or flashlight. No offers found
