Scarifiers

 

— scarifiers work the soil with thin wire tendrils, similar to those used in wire rakes. Unlike verticutters, they are designed not so much for cutting (or, in this case, piercing) the soil, but for cleaning it from debris: not all models have the ability to pierce the soil, and even in these cases, the working depth is very small. The main scope of scarifiers are regularly processed lawns.
