Swedish Plus Test

— one of the most rigorous independent car seat crash tests, developed by the Swedish VTI institute, which assesses protection of a child’s neck in a severe frontal collision. Thus, the Swedish Plus Test indicates a high level of head and neck protection in a strong frontal collision, as well as sudden braking.

The test is conducted only for rear-facing models, and the result has only two possible outcomes: passed or failed. The absence of a certificate does not necessarily mean low safety — the manufacturer may not have submitted the seat for testing.
