Copper-plated balls

— this type of bullet is made from steel. Usually, they are marked with the abbreviation "BB", in accordance with the marking of gunshot. The thin copper coating of the ball prevents the appearance of corrosion on the surface of the bullet, and also reduces the degree of wear of the gun barrel. When shooting with copper-plated balls, it is imperative to use protective glasses, since bullets of this type are unusually ricochet.

Copper-plated balls have proven themselves well when shooting at medium distances. Bullets of this type are inferior in accuracy to lead balls. To increase the accuracy of hitting, copper-plated balls are dipped in petroleum jelly. The main advantage is that the balls are able to interact with magnetic traps, which are equipped with modern models of pneumatics, which, in turn, increases the accuracy of centering the bullets in the barrel.
