The Tefal Access Steam series of handheld steamers covers a wide price range—from the lower to the upper middle segment—and consists of several subseries with increasing functionality. It is aimed at those looking for a practical everyday steamer without an ironing board. The general features of the models are standard: a removable water tank, fairly fast heating, a long power cord (up to 3 meters), and a stable base stand for most representatives of the series. Otherwise, the models differ in design, price, and functionality.

The Access Steam First subseries represents the entry level: these are inexpensive basic steamers with a power of about 1300 W, steam output up to 20 g/min, and one mode. They are designed for light fabrics and quick clothing refreshment. The Tefal Access Steam Pocket models have similar features, but they can also boast a foldable design for compact storage and transportation. The next level is Access Steam Easy with greater power (1400 W) and more intense steam production (25 g/min).

The top level is occupied by the Care and Force subseries—they are distinguished by high power and steam output, larger water tanks, and are suitable for different types of fabrics. Another advantage is their expanded set, which may include a brush, attachment for delicate fabrics, crease attachment, reversible attachment with microfiber and roller for hair and dust removal, etc.
