The Tefal IXEO ironing system series occupies the top price segment and represents a fundamentally different approach to ironing: instead of the traditional "iron plus folding board" setup, there's a compact vertical stand with an integrated board and a lightweight iron head. At its core are the integrated adjustable SmartBoard and a super-light iron head, which is twice as light as a traditional iron. No temperature settings are needed: the Smart Protect technology automatically maintains a safe mode for any fabric. The base is detachable in all models, which allows it to be used separately for steaming curtains, furniture, or bed linens. The entire system moves on wheels and folds to a height of about 105 cm for storage in a closet or room corner.


The series meets the needs of different users by offering several subtypes. The average basic IXEO model has a power of 1600 W with a steam pressure of 5 bar and heats up in 45 seconds. The steam output reaches 45 g/min, and the tank volume is about 1 liter. The board is fixed in three positions - horizontal, vertical, and inclined at a 30° angle. Limescale protection is implemented through a replaceable cartridge. Models with the Plus prefix in the name transition to Twin Boiler technology with a double boiler, providing a more stable steam output of up to 45 g/min and a steam boost of up to 90 g/min for stubborn wrinkles. The tank is increased to 1.3 liters, and heating takes 70 seconds.

The top IXEO Power systems raise the bar to 2170 W and a pressure of 5.8 bar. Continuous steam output reaches 90 g/min, and the boost is 200 g/min, which is comparable to professional steam generators. The most advanced IXEO Vision subseries features an updated design: the board adjusts to five positions and can be operated with one hand, making mode switching considerably more convenient. An LED light is built into the iron head for precise work in dark or hard-to-reach areas.
