Tumble dryers with leftward opening door
To the left
— for a freestanding unit, a left-side opening would be the best option: most users are right-handed, and with this opening, the free space for loading and unloading linen is just under the right hand. However, dryers are rarely installed completely separately — they are usually bought in addition to washers and are often placed side by side. And in most washing machines, the door opens just to the left (again, based on convenience for right-handed people), and dryers with doors on the right side are best combined with such units (for more details, see "right").Thus, the left-hand opening is much less common among dryers than the right-hand opening. However, it often turns out to be the best option. A typical example is the installation of a dryer on top of a washing machine: in such cases, it is desirable that the doors open in one direction — and in washing machines, as we remember, the left side is the most popular.
Also note that dryers with reversible doors are on the market, which allows you to choose the direction of opening at the request of the user. Such models are also included in this selection item.
