— TFT type display located on the control panel of the machine.In this case, TFT means a colour screen that can display not only text characters but also pictures (unlike a simpler LED). Such a screen can even be made touch-sensitive and used to control the unit; anyway, it provides more detailed information, and in general, has more features than LED. At the same time, it makes sense to use such displays only in the most advanced machines with an abundance of functions — a relatively simple unit does not need an advanced (and, accordingly, expensive) screen.
