Recorders with 3.5 mm mini-Jack microphone connector
— a common type of microphone jack found in recording equipment. It is a familiar audio jack that can be found on board a conditional smartphone, laptop or portable audio player. External microphones with a 3.5 mm plug are available in versions with two-, three- and four-pin plugs (TS, TRS and TRRS respectively). The simplest two-pin interfaces are used in models with mono sound recording, advanced four-pin interfaces are used in copies that support stereo sound transmission.
