Tripod adapter

— possibility of installation on a binocular/monocular adapter for mounting on a tripod. The adapter usually looks like an L-shaped device, which is attached at one end to the socket on the device, and at the other to the tripod head. The possibility of a stable installation is important primarily for heavy devices with high magnification and a narrow field of view, in particular astronomical binoculars. However, it can also be useful for simpler models — in cases where you need to constantly keep a certain area or a fixed object under observation: mounting on a tripod will save you from having to point the device manually every time. Note that the adapters themselves are most often not included in the package, although there are exceptions.
