Microsoft Office 2019 software
Microsoft Office 2019
— a version of Office that was released in 2018 as a successor to Office 2016. This refers to traditional Windows perpetual license editions only; Office 365 subscriptions and Office for Mac are not included in this category (see their respective sections).With this update, Microsoft introduced a number of features that were previously only available in Office 365. One of the key overall improvements in the new Office is the ability to customize the appearance of the ribbon of tabs and commands, as well as streamlining the experience through the touch screen with a stylus — now applications are able to recognize pressure and angle pen tilt. The Word editor received a focus mode on user-selected content, an update to the built-in translator, and a number of learning tools. New chart types, formulas, and data analytics features have been added to Excel. PowerPoint introduces the ability to add 3D models and 4K video, as well as a number of improvements to make presentations more cinematic.
Office 2019 is available in five editions, each with one more feature than the last:
— Home & Student, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote;
— Home & Business — added Outlook;
— Standard — added Publisher;
— Professional — added Access;
— Professional Plus — Added Skype for Business.
Note that this version of Office only runs on Windows 10 and is not compatible with earlier versions of Windows.
