It weighs a little less than a pound, and can pack down to the size of a water bottle. Therm-a-Rest used down insulation with the highest rill rating (900) to ensure the loftiest warmth and the smallest compressibility. This down also boasts a Nikwax hydrophobic treatment to retain its lofty warmth in moisture-riddled environments.

Therm-a-Rest's Vela Double Quilt packs smaller than most sleeping bags and has enough warmth for two backpackers or campers. Its down insulation keeps things as light as can be while still providing a 20F temperature rating, and Therm-a-Rest treated the insulation with Nikwax to retain its lofty warmth in wetter climates.
