Through the use of a dual motor feedback mechanism, Driving Force devices realistically convey the feeling of tyre grip, wheel slip and surface features on which a virtual sports car is racing. At the same time, most Driving Force wheels have a shaft mounted on steel ball bearings, pedals and levers are made of high-grade stainless steel, a helical gear is used for extra smoothness, and the steering wheel itself is covered with handmade leather.

To attach to the table, the Driving Force handlebars use a classic system of secure clips that will not allow the handlebar to move sideways during aggressive manoeuvres. To control games on the steering wheel there is a traditional eight-way D-pad and the main set of buttons from the gamepad. And this is the main difference between all members of the Driving Force family. Some of them are friends with Sony consoles (PS5, PS4, PS3) and mimic the button layout from DuaShock gamepads, while others are designed to work in tandem with Xbox consoles, including the new Series X and S. At the same time, they all support connection to PC.

An important addition to the handlebars is an auxiliary floor unit with integrated gas, brake and clutch pedals, which provides more realism when driving a racing car or a street sports car. Also manipulators of the Force series provide the ability to connect to the steering unit of a 6-speed gearbox with an H-shaped arrangement and a push reverse mechanism. True, the box is not included in the kit, it must be purchased separately. If extra spending is not included in the plan, the speed can be switched in a more familiar way using the paddle levers located under the steering wheel.
