Gear lever

— a lever that mimics a car's gear shift knob. It is used only in rudders (see "Device"). Allows you to simulate a manual gear shift, thus providing increased realism and enhanced control in car simulators. The simplest switches allow you to change gears only sequentially, in turn; more advanced ones make it possible to turn on any of the gears on the move (as on a car with a full manual gearbox).
