Paper-like (SiPix)

— paper-like displays made using SiPix technology. They have all the characteristic features of paper-like displays: extremely low power consumption (allowing the reader to work without recharging for several days or even weeks) and a low refresh rate, which does not allow watching videos on them. However, unlike the earlier eINK technology, in SiPix screens, each bubble-pixel contains not two separate pigments, but one; the role of the second is played by the liquid filling the bubble. This technology reduces the cost of production, but worsens the reflectivity — SiPix-screens look "greyer".
