Monochrome

— plotters capable of printing in only one colour — usually black (more precisely, different shades of grey).

Obviously, the possibilities of such printing are noticeably limited compared to colour. On the other hand, it allows the use of laser technology (see “Product Type”) and, accordingly, low-cost prints in a short time; and full colour is not always required — for example, in the drawings it is most often unnecessary. Actually, almost all modern monochrome plotters are laser and are used mainly for printing drawings and other similar materials.
