Direct Print Plotters

USB (for flash drives)

— built-in USB port for connecting flash drives and other external media (portable hard drives, pocket gadgets, etc.) to the plotter.

This function allows at least direct printing — that is, printing materials from an external device without connecting the plotter to a computer. And if you have a scanner (see “Features”), you can also copy scanned materials to external media via the USB port.
