— this technology uses solid ink that melts in the print head and re-solidifies on paper (which is transferred by a special drum). The advantages of solid ink printing are versatility, high image quality (including full colour), as well as good suitability for mass printing — the price of one print is low, and the longer the plotter is used, the cheaper the cost becomes. The disadvantage of such plotters is the need to keep the device constantly turned on, due to the technological features of the process.
