— the kickstand on electric transport is necessary for stable parking without leaning against a wall: you set down a scooter or an electric bike, and it stands upright, doesn't fall, and doesn't scratch the deck/handlebar. A good kickstand is chosen based on compatibility with the frame/deck and the weight of the device, as well as considering ground clearance height, so that the transport stands stably even on a slight incline. Compared to "side parking" or on a curb, this is much safer for the handles, levers, and display.
