They differ from corner ones (see the relevant paragraph) in that they have a rectangular shape, and the user in front of the washbasin faces the wall, and not the corner. The choice between left- and right-handed layouts depends solely on the situation of a particular bathroom and the place of the washbasin in it, and since there are no strict rules on this matter, almost every right-handed model also has a left-handed counterpart — so that the buyer can choose the option that suits him personally.
