— consoles differ from traditional cabinets primarily in the absence of shelves, doors and drawers. In accordance with the name, they are mounted only in a suspended way, and the specific design of such products may be different. So, some are countertops for sinks, others even look like a set of wall brackets for installing such a countertop; at the same time, both of them often have very extensive possibilities for choosing additional equipment. So, the countertop may not have a seat — in such cases it has to be cut separately, which allows you to fine-tune the product to a specific sink. And the brackets can even be made completely separate, which makes it possible to choose the distance between them and precisely adjust the design to the size of a particular tabletop.

On the other hand, being quite difficult to install, such products are also noticeably less functional than cabinets. Therefore, there are quite a few consoles nowadays, and they are designed for situations where drawers and shelves are either not needed at all, or will be installed separately.
