Multi-pump rifles
Multi-pump
— this type can be described as "pneumatics with a built-in pump": the pressure necessary for a shot in the built-in reservoir is created by the operation of a pump built into the weapon itself. The pump lever can look like a handle under the barrel or a movable handguard, and it takes several movements to fill the tank. The tank itself, unlike the PCP, is designed for one shot, and after each shot it must be re-inflated. Multi-compression rifles have low cost, no recoil, a quiet shot and the ability to keep the weapon cocked for a long time. In addition, by changing the degree of pumping, you can adjust the power of the shot. The main disadvantages are the need to pump air every time (this is not only time-consuming, but also rather tedious, especially when filling the tank “up to the stop”), as well as the inability to provide the same pressure in the tank every time. Even the same number of strokes of the pump lever each time will give a different pressure, which affects accuracy.multi-pump | clear | Save List |
