— the scales have an autonomous power supply — usually in the form of a built-in battery. This feature allows you to use the device even when there are no power outlets nearby — for example, as part of a field laboratory, or in the format of pocket scales (the latter are often used by jewelers). Note that the battery can be combined with the ability to work from the mains — such models are as versatile and convenient as possible: if there is a power outlet, you can supply the scales from it, saving battery power and charging it if necessary.
