— possibility of recording certain item prices directly into the memory of scales. Due to this, the determination of the cost of goods is noticeably simplified: instead of manually entering the price for each item, it is enough to enter its code or select the desired PLU direct keys (see the relevant paragraph). Item price memory can be especially useful if the scale is used as part of a computerized sales accounting system.
