When skeleton rats started ransacking your pantry, you didn’t know what to do at first. It’s hard enough to chase off regular rats, but skeleton rats were even harder. They weren’t at all affected by your rat traps; if their bones were disconnected when the trap sprang around them, they’d just pull themselves together again. And any poisoned cheese dropped straight through their ribcages. (It makes you wonder why they go after your food at all, but maybe they’re just spiteful.)
