In this case, a classic bedspread made of one or another fabric is usually called a bedding, a karemat is a tourist rug made of polymer. The bedspreads are large in size, while they can be folded quite compactly. Karemats, in turn, provide excellent thermal and moisture insulation, but are not so convenient to carry, and the mentioned advantages are rarely critical. Therefore, picnic sets are completed mainly with bedding.
