— the walls are made of fine mesh mounted on a special frame. Parent and baby can see each other through the mesh, while it provides some degree of protection from drafts and is safe in case of loss of balance — it is almost impossible to bruise the mesh wall. Among the disadvantages is the lack of any additional support for the baby, except for the top edge of the crib.
