Zigbee

— a communication protocol created for automation systems (including "smart home" systems), alarms, industrial control, etc. It is optimized for secure data transmission at low speeds and with minimal power consumption, suitable for miniature battery-powered devices. Like the aforementioned Z-Wave, it uses a MESH network topology, allowing signal transmission through multiple nodes and automatic selection of the optimal route considering the current network situation. It is characterized by good security and noise immunity, as well as a high response speed (waking from sleep mode takes about 15 milliseconds), which makes it quite widely used in modern wireless sensors.
