— the most compact type of cameras — as the name suggests, the size of such devices allows you to carry them even in your pocket. However their capabilities are usually also quite modest, as many features had to be sacrificed in order to reduce the size. The design of models of this type can be different — some are closer to full-size amateur cameras, others — to mobile phones. But anyway, it is worth looking for a pocket camera only if small dimensions are critical for you.
