Each individual matrix during the operation of such a camera captures only its part of the colour spectrum (usually red, green, blue, according to the standard RGB colour scheme), and the image is built on the basis of a combination of three signals. In this way, very accurate colour reproduction can be ensured, which is very important in professional video shooting. But installing three sensors in amateur cameras does not make sense — the cost of such devices would be unreasonably high.
