Reliable head support is extremely important for the safety of the baby, especially in the first months of life. And given the condition of domestic roads and shaking during driving, this moment is of particular importance. So the head support can be a very useful addition to the car seat; we also note that it can also perform the function of a pillow, providing additional comfort during sleep. But the specific design of such an accessory can be different. So, some models are thick and soft bandages that are put on the baby's head and tightly hold it in the headrest; they perfectly protect from side shocks, but rather weakly hold the head from falling forward. Another option is a tight band between the sides of the head support that holds the head from the front; this design, on the contrary, prevents the head from tilting forward, but does little to prevent it from tilting sideways (the latter, however, can be compensated for by a properly adjusted width of the headrest).
