— diving masks are devices that cover the nose and eyes of a diver. They perform two main functions: they prevent water from entering the nose and allow you to see normally under water. In modern diving masks, the glass is usually divided into two halves, and the nose is covered by a separate segment; however, other designs may be envisaged.
