— models with an electric heater are considered easier and safer to connect and use than gas ones. They are also better suited for implementing advanced features such as timers (see the relevant paragraph). The main disadvantage of devices powered by the mains is the low power due to some technical limitations — usually up to 3 kW; at the same time, the total cost of operation is higher than that of gas ones. In addition, electric heaters are sensitive to moisture and require special protection for safe use in wet conditions.
