Our Guard Station mountaineering dome brings durable, basecamp-ready design and materials to high-altitude expeditions. House the entire crew, use as a medical tent, mess hall or command center. The dome shape minimizes snow and wind load. the DAC exoskeleton pole system maximizes architectural strength and creates extensive livable space. WE GOT YOU COVERED – Fly is Dominico undyed polyester rip-stop made with high tenacity yarns which increase tear strength by 20-25% over standard nylon or polyester rip-stop fabrics. Also provides high UV resistance and stability during temperature and moisture fluctuations, allowing for a solid and stable pitched tent. Fly material uses a unique pigment-dye coloring process that resists fading and increases UV resistance. FULL FEATURED – Peek at the peak through one of two windows without opening doors. Windows can be opened for venting or closed up tight in extreme weather. The single-wall structure minimizes bad-weather impact during set up. An Accessory Body with floor is available that easily clips into the Guard Station 4 to create a cozy double-wall shelter – sold separately. Two oversized wall pockets provide ample storage without encroaching on your livable space. READY TO PITCH with pre-cut guy lines and tensioners. Heavy duty reflective guy lines and webbing on tent corners make your tent easily visible. All seams taped with waterproof, solvent-free polyurethane tape (No PVC or VOC's).
