An adjustable reading light allows you to focus light directly on your book, while the bright uplight illuminates the rest of your room. Durable metal base. 2 glass shades. Two rotary switches easily turns the lights on and off. Gooseneck reading light is adjustable. Uplight uses 2 x 150W incandescent bulb (sold separately). Reading light uses a 60W incandescent bulb (sold separately). NOTE: Use incandescent bulbs up to 150W or dimmable led bulbs (DO NOT USE: 3-way bulbs or CFL�s). We recommend using incandescent bulbs for best results achieving both settings of 50% brightness and 100% brightness with no flicker. When using LED bulbs, it is common to see some flicker on the low setting (high setting will always have no flicker). A dimmable LED will minimize the low setting flicker, but may still occur.Smart outlet compatible. ETL listed. Assembly required.
