The Adesso 300W Piedmont Torchiere is a flexible and stylish lighting solution. Use the uplight to fill the room with ambient lighting, or use the adjustable gooseneck reading light when you want to focus on the task at hand. An Adesso patented 300W Double Socket construction allows for two crisscrossed sockets, each holding a 150W incandescent or LED bulb which provides approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere. Plastic bowl shade evenly distributes light. Requires 2 x 150W incandescent or LED equivalent bulbs for the uplight and 1 x 60W incandescent for the reading light (sold separately). NOTE: Use incandescent bulbs up to 150W or dimmable led bulbs (DO NOT USE: 3-way bulbs or CFL�s). We recommend using incandescent bulbs for best results achieving both settings of 50% brightness and 100% brightness with no flicker. When using LED bulbs, it is common to see some flicker on the low setting (high setting will always have no flicker). A dimmable LED will minimize the low setting flicker, but may still occur. Adjustable gooseneck lets you easily direct illumination for versatile task lighting. A simple 4-way rotary switch on the pole allows for 4 settings: uplight on, reading light on, both lights on, off. ETL Listed. 5' cord offers ample reach. Assembly required.
