We appreciate the enhanced braking power of the ATC Pilot that saves our grip when holding our partner at the crux and boosts control on lowers while still giving the ultra-smooth slack payouts we're used to with tube-style devices. The ATC Pilot clips to our harness with the RockLock Screwgate carabiner that is equipped with a keylock nose for snag-free performance and a screw gate for single-handed operation.
