Type

— Walkers. The classic design of a walker is a four-wheeled carriage with a seat. The baby sits on the seat so that his/her feet reach the floor, but only part of his/her body weight rests on them. The special design of the seat prevents the baby from falling out of the walker and possible injuries.

Jumpers. As the name implies, this type of device is designed primarily for jumping rather than walking; jumpers are not usually movable and are designed to be installed in one place - in a doorway, on the floor, etc. (see “Installation” for more details). Like ordinary walkers, they have specially designed seats to prevent the child from falling, bruises and injuries. The possibility of jumping is provided by a special elastic suspension of the seat, and sometimes trampoline under the feet of the baby. In jumpers the element of play is most vividly manifested: such devices are not only an exercise device, but also a kind of swing for the child's entertainment.

Push walkers. A type of walker (see above) that does not have a seat. In fact, push walkers are devices with support under the arms of the baby; unlike classic walkers, their main purpose is not to take the load off the legs, but to provide an additional point of support. Accordingly, this type is intended for older children who are already strong enough to stand on their own, but still not confident enough to stay upright.

Height adjustment

Possibility to adjust the height of the walker seat. This feature will allow you to optimally adjust the height of the walker seat so that the baby does not have to stand on his toes or bend his legs (both options can adversely affect the development of the musculoskeletal system). In addition, this feature is useful for adjusting the height as the child grows.

Height levels

The number of fixed height levels that the walker seat can be set to. The more such levels, the wider the possibilities for adjusting the height and the more accurately you can choose the height for the height of your baby.

Removable play tray

The ability to remove the play tray (see the relevant paragraph above) from the walkers. The removable tray can be used as a separate toy for a child, including when he grows up and he will not need walkers.

Swing function

The ability to use walkers as a rocking chair is another option for entertaining a child in a walker, which is also useful for the vestibular apparatus.
