The performance of the compressor determines how much fresh air will enter the aquarium per unit of time. The performance of the compressor should approximately correspond to the volume of the serviced aquarium. If the capacity is designed for 200 liters, then it is recommended to choose a compressor with a capacity of at least 200-240 liters per hour (L / h).
Power control
The ability to adjust the power allows you to reduce / increase the performance of the compressor, depending on the need. Power-controlled compressors are classified as advanced. By setting the optimal power, you can create perfect conditions for breeding specific representatives of flora and fauna.
Water column height
The maximum height to which the pump can push water. If you lower it below the maximum height of the water column, the air flow will meet with almost insurmountable resistance of the water column and the pump will not be able to work efficiently.
