Relatively affordable and reliable 3.5″ internal hard drive from the 2013 WD AV-GP SATA HDD family. This line includes six models from 320 GB to 3 TB, which are optimized for digital video streaming in consumer video recorders and video surveillance systems. It features moderate power consumption (less than 4.5 W in intensive use) and low noise level. Maintains performance over a wide temperature range, which makes it possible to use it in systems with silent passive cooling.
Optimized firmware ensures uninterrupted round-the-clock recording of video streams from up to 12 HD cameras. The 2000 GB WD AV-GP WD20EURX hard drive holds up to 400 hours of HD video or 2000 hours of standard TV programming. Connects using a standard SATA3 interface. Easily fits into the configuration of a modern multimedia player for a FullHD/UltraHD home theater or audio/video server.

I've been using it for several months now, and no problems have been detected. I hope there won't be any, as I've always trusted WD. I can't comment on speed because I use it on an SSD for the system, and you know how fast those are. There is a model with 4 terabytes! If only someone had told me about this earlier when I was using a 200 megabyte drive :) Not that I urgently need such volume now, but I got more out of greed :) It's good to have, free space is never excessive. A good manufacturer, I've used WD for many years, and never had any problems. Noisier and hotter than many other less capacitive models. But everything still remains within the normal range. use WD AV-GP month or more i recommend it should buy |
