VidaXL Tourist 2 A WP

The traditional gable tent from VidaXL is a relatively inexpensive solution for two people. It is recommended for warm seasons and positioned as a camping model, but due to its fairly lightweight (2.2 kg), it is also suitable for outdoor activities such as hiking. However, while the overall dimensions in the case are small (just over 7 liters in volume), the carrying bag is quite long (50 cm) and will not fit in a bicycle backpack.

The VidaXL Tourist 2 A WP tent is easy to set up — the two gable roof structure is defined by a pair of fiberglass poles 1.2 meters high with a pin-and-ring connection system. The sleeping area on the floor measures 210x150 cm, providing a good width allowance for one person (about 75 cm). The living area features a single entrance with a mosquito net, and on the opposite side, there is a closable window.

The model is single-layered, which lightens the construction and makes it more affordable, but does not eliminate the problem of "sweating" — abundant condensation forming on the inner walls. Therefore, it is best used for short trips and/or in warm periods without sharp nighttime temperature drops. The polyester tent provides basic protection from precipitation and is claimed to have light-blocking properties: the fabric blocks sunlight and helps maintain coolness inside. Additionally, it features reflective guy lines and a loop for hanging a lantern.
