A very interesting model, looks stunning. It is larger than I expected. Detailed instructions, interesting assembly solutions. Complete set of everything needed, as well as some spare parts in case the main ones break during assembly. The price compared to other UGears models is quite good. UGears Bike VM-02 is a whole new level of wooden puzzle models. When I first picked up the box, I thought, "Just another set..." But as soon as I started assembling it, I realized it's not just "something else for the shelf." Everything is well thought out: each piece fits precisely, the instructions are clear, and with every step of assembly, you feel like you're actually building something alive. The result is a cool mechanical motorcycle where even the wheels turn, and the gears transfer motion to each other. I like that it's not just a static model, but a real working wooden mechanism. It's nice to hold, and it looks very natural on the shelf. It's especially gratifying that this is a Ukrainian manufacturer — you can see it's made with heart and attention to quality. The wood feels pleasant to the touch, the finishing is neat, there's nothing sticking out, and nothing breaks during assembly. This puzzle is a great way to spend an evening productively, and then have a nice piece that you're proud to display in the room. The motorcycle model is quite large and looks good when assembled, both on a shelf and on a desk. The difficulty is indeed medium, but there are nuances. One should not forget that you are working with wood; you need to carefully process the edges and the places where the part was attached to the base, as the CNC machine slightly undercuts the parts so that they do not fall out of the board, but later these undercuts can interfere with assembly, so do not forget to sand all the parts.
The kit includes instructions, plywood panels with cut-out parts, a set of toothpicks that [censored] for some fastenings, a set of rubber bands, as well as a wax pencil for lubricating the parts, as there are parts in the model that rotate and move.
The motorcycle is equipped with a rubber engine, meaning you can wind the factory wheel a few times, press the lever, and the model will move forward. However, it is worth noting that the mechanism is quite short-lived; after a couple of years, the rubber dried out, and the engine stopped working. Since this model is not Lego, it is almost impossible to disassemble it without damage, so repairing the engine is also not possible. So keep this in mind. But despite this, I recommend it. The model is quite large and looks nice as part of the decor in any interior.
