Turtle Beach VelocityOne Race Wheel & Pedal System

Complete set of expert-level racing equipment for PC and Xbox released by Turtle Beach in 2024. Unlike most budget and mid-range wheels with gear or belt drives, the base platform here is built on a direct drive motor — the proprietary K:Drive with a peak torque of 7.2 Nm. Direct drive offers lower response latency and precise track detail transmission — from curb vibrations to rear axle drifting.

Force feedback is adjustable "on the fly" without entering the game menu. The model's main feature is the built-in colored Race Management Display on the wheel rim's top panel: it shows real-time telemetry from supported simulators (speed, gear, lap time), serves as an interface for setting force feedback, button mapping, and storing up to 10 profiles. The Turtle Beach VelocityOne Race Wheel & Pedal System includes a full set of three pedals — accelerator, brake, and clutch — where the brake is made with Dynamic Brake Tek load cell technology: the pedal responds not to the travel but to the applied force, matching the behavior of a real braking system and helping to develop steady muscle memory.

The rim is equipped with rubber grips, magnetic paddle shifters with a distinctive click, and a removable Modular Control Unit with additional switches for auxiliary system control. There are a total of 20 buttons on the device. The package is completed with built-in Turtle Beach sound adjustment for a connected headset. Connection to PC or Xbox is via USB-A, with power supplied from the mains.
